Newborn Portrait – Safia

The world welcomed Safia Ryan to the world on April 17th with open arms and smiling faces.  She decided to be early to the party by about a week, not that anyone minded.   She hit the scales at 6lbs 4oz and just under 20″ long and Ryan and Bela instantly became proud parents.   I have seen quite a few babies in my days and I have to say that Safia has the longest feet and the cutest toes.  The kind you just want to nibble on.   (of course I didn’t do that!)

I found out that it is family tradition for all of the children to take their father’s first name as their middle name.  It’s an interesting tradition that has been passed down for ages and I thought it was wonderful that they are continuing that trend in their family.

The plan is for me to photograph Safia over the next 12 months capturing her at each milestone on her way to her 1st birthday.  Help me congratulate Ryan and Bela and welcome Safia to our world!
