“We just ran a half marathon!” said Kaci when we were talking about their interest at school. Kaci and Olivia are seniors at New Albany, OH High School and both are members of the track team. They had recently finished a Half Marathon in Granville along with their mother, another avid runner. These girls impressed me with their amazingly outgoing personalities and the maturity that they posess. When I was a senior in High School, I would never have thought I would be able to run 13.1 miles but these girls just talked like it was a walk in the park.
I asked them if growing up as twins has lead them to be best friends or best enemies. They both chimed in and said that they are the best of friends, which by the way they act together would prove that to be true.
They both are interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field and are looking at the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. Regardless where these girls end up I am sure that they will do great! Help me wish Kaci and Olivia “Good luck in you senior year!”

So today is supposed to be “your favorite place to be”. One of my favorite places in the whole world would be this backpacking spot in the Ansel Adams wilderness just outside of Yosemite that we have called “The Hole”. It would be terribly difficult to get there and back today so I chose my second favorite place to be. My Bike…
I love to be on my bike riding when the sun comes up. There’s just something about being outside in the pre-dawn light with the wind in your face, not to mention that you get in a workout before your first cup of coffee (bonus!). So with that said, here is: Day 3 – Your Favorite Place To Be.
