Here are answers to a few common questions that I get.
About My Services
What style would you use to describe your photography?
Well that’s tricky. How about “It All Depends”? Not exactly a straight answer but I don’t think you can use one word or a specific style to describe anyone’s photography. Photojournalistic is a buzzword that is used quite a bit right now. I try to capture the natural “you” so that it doesn’t look posed. But honestly, you have to be posed to some extent. So I would say that I try to capture casual photojournalistic images that reveal the real you.
Do you shoot in a studio or offsite or in my home?
All Three! I have studio space in Gahanna and also can take my gear anywhere. Creekside, Park of Roses, Short North and the Arena District are a few of the onsite locations that I have used but sometimes you want that personal touch of having a portrait take in your own home. Contact me to schedule a session either in studio, offsite or in your home.
What are your session fees and what do they cover?
My studio session fees are $125 per session and in-home sessions are $200 per session. These were commonly know as “sitting fees”. The session fees include the time it takes me to photograph your session.

Do you print your own pictures?
No. I have found a great professional photo printing lab out of Wisconsin and have spent hours tuning my equipment to be in sync with their printing presses. I have a professionally color calibrated monitor so I know that the images you see on my screen are exactly the same color and density as the images you will be hanging on your walls. You just can’t get that by printing images yourself.
